Maggie Arbeid

Maggie has always been involved in the arts, in particular fine art and textiles, training in Scandinavia and working at Central School, London, before setting up her own business alongside raising a family. Maggie specialises in recycling unconventional textiles such as mosquito nets and army surplus into dancewear. She started writing poetry at a time of great stress, with Covid adding to the isolation – poetry ‘wrote her’.

Maggie’s poems Now and No Return – Move On are published in Arachne’s anthology What Meets the Eye?  The Deaf Perspective.   This is her first publication.
