Diana Powell was born and brought up in Carmarthenshire, but now lives with her husband in beautiful Pembrokeshire. Her stories have featured in a number of competitions, anthologies and journals. Her novella, Esther Bligh, was published in 2018 by Holland House Books and her short story collection, Trouble Crossing the Bridge, was published in 2020 by Chaffinch Press.
Several of Diana’s stories have been performed at Arachne’s Solstice Shorts Festivals and published in their respective anthologies, including Noon Child Unknown, which was performed at Noon at Carlisle on 21st December 2018 and published in the Noon anthology; Ballast, which was performed at Greenwich, Holyhead, Lisbon and Maryport and published in the Time and Tide anthology; and Sea Change which was performed at Greenwich and Holyhead and also published in the Time and Tide anthology. Diana’s story Memory of Snow is published in Arachne’s 2021 Solstice Shorts anthology, Words From the Brink.
