Adele Evershed

Adele Evershed is an early years educator and writer. She was born in South Wales and lived there for the first eighteen years of her life. She would travel the A470 every summer to holiday with her family in North Wales. Adele has lived in Hong Kong and Singapore before settling in Connecticut. She writes in a room overlooking a wall of trees that remind her of the woods of her childhood.

Mae Adel Evershed yn ddysgwr blynyddoedd cynnar a sgwennwr. Ganwyd yn ne Cymru lle bu’n byw am ddeunaw mlynedd. Byddai’n teithio ar hyd yr A470 bob haf i dreulio’r gwyliau gyda’i theulu yn y gogledd. Mae Adele wedi byw yn Hong Kong a Singapôr cyn ymsefydlu yn Connecticut. Mae’n ysgrifennu mewn ystafell â golygfa o bared o goed sy’n ei hatgoffa o goedwigoedd ei phlentyndod.

You can find Adele’s poetry in High Shelf, bee house Journal, Shot Glass Journal, The Fib Review, Réapparition Journal, Sad Girls Club and Green Ink Poetry as well as a number of print anthologies.

Adele’s poem The Art of Embroidering a Road Through Wales is published by Arachne Press in our 2022 anthology A470.
