Lay-by, Storey Arms Pass

Poet Gareth Writer-Davies says of his A470 poem Lay-by, Storey Arms Pass,

I was on the way home to Brecon; it began to snow. I parked in a lay-by at Storey Arms, a high pass on the A470 to assess the situation. My mind started to wander over the landscape and the forces that had made it.

Dw i wedi dychwelyd i Aberhonddu; dechreuodd bwrw eira. Parciais mewn cilfach barcio yn Storey Arms, bwlch uchel ar y A470 i ddeall y sefyllfa. Dechreuodd fy meddwl i grwydro o gwmpas y dirwedd a’r lluoedd oedd wedi ei wneud.
