Ellie Stewart was born in Wimbledon Park in 1986 to a father and mother who immigrated from New Zealand in 1979. Her mother died from cancer in 2001 and she lived in Tunbridge Wells until she was 18 when she left to study English and Philosophy at The University of Leeds. She has been published in various places online including The Pygmy Giant, The Writer’s Village and Friction Magazine.
