Sophie Woolley

Sophie Woolley is a writer and performer for stage, radio and TV. In 2020, she toured Augmented, her solo show about being a Deaf cyborg and the future of humanity. Recent TV writing includes Casualty and EastEnders. Sophie has toured her stage work in the UK and internationally, working with companies such as Told by an Idiot, Soho Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith, Royal Exchange Theatre, Birmingham Rep, Ovalhouse and Salisbury Playhouse. Stageplays include When to Run (produced by renaissanceone), Fight Face, Bee Detective and BBC Radio 4 plays Carbon Cleansing and Absolutely Delish: Grazing episode. Previous short fiction includes D.J. Bird diaries, Sleazenation, Epic Slinky in New Writing 12 (Picador), Elusive Arthur in Tell Tales Vol 4 (Peepaltree), I Am the Walrus in Book Slam One for the Trouble (Book Slam), The Fake Interpreter (Magma).
