Cathy Lennon

Cathy Lennon is a writer of short fiction based in Lancashire. Her work has appeared in various printed and online publications. She has been a winner and judge of the annual National Flash Fiction Day competition and appears in several of its anthologies.

Cathy’s previous publications include three short fictions in Reflex Press anthologies; The Magical Wall in the Red Rose Book of Fairy Tales (Uclan Press); Tabula Rasa, Highly Commended and published online in InkTears (www.inktears.com); Symmetry, in Twisted Tales (Raging Aardvark Publishing); Kierkegaard in Journal of Compressed Literary Arts (Matter Press); A Forest of Hands in Scraps (Gumbo Press); Handle with Care ­in Eating My Words (Gumbo Press); and We Endure in Landmarks (Gumbo Press).

Arachne have previously published Cathy’s flash fiction in Story Cities.  Cathy’s story Casting the Stones was part of our Time and Time, Solstice Shorts Festival 2019.  It was performed in Lisbon and published in the Time and Tide anthology.  Cathy’s micro fiction, The Inescapable Irony of Protective Packaging, is published in our 2021 Solstice Shorts anthology, Words From the Brink.
