Dee Cooke has a poem, De-Stiffen, in What Meets the Eye? The Deaf Perspective
Dee is an editor and writer, originally from Edinburgh but currently living in Newcastle upon Tyne. She works as a copy-editor for academic books and journal articles, blogs at spiritofdee.com, and has recently (pre-pandemic) been reading her poetry at the regular ‘Pantisocracy Poetry’ event at the Drink Art Bar in Newcastle. Dee adores the pop culture of the 1980s and has written and published many retro-style text adventure games. She is also a (slow) runner and a classic British red telephone box enthusiast.
