Harry Whitehead

Harry Whitehead is an author and academic who teaches creative writing at the University of Leicester. he worked for fifteen years in the film business before becoming a professional writer. His novel, The Cannibal Spirit, is published by Penguin Canada, and has been described as ‘powerful, brave, ambitious,’ (The Globe and Mail), ‘a thriller with a Joseph Conradian plot’ (The Walrus), ‘a unique work, compelling, complex, thought-provoking and impressive’ (Quill and Quire). He has published short- and non-fiction in a variety of genres.

Harry’s story for London Lies, Ringtone was first read at London Liars’ League in May 2007, as part of the  Mad & Bad evening.
