Bob Beagrie features in the second Solstice Shorts Festival, Longest Night, and his poem Dunking for a New Sun, is in the Shortest Day, Longest Night anthology.

Bob is a UK poet, playwright, and senior lecturer in creative writing at Teesside University. A Biscuit Poetry Prize winner and recipient of the Time to Write Award, he has performed his work across Europe. His seventh collection of poetry ‘Leasungspell‘ was published by Smokestack Books in February 2016 (also available as a sound file on line), and he has contributed to various anthologies and journals. His poetry has been translated into Urdu, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Russian, Danish, Spanish, and Swedish. Bob likes to collaborate with a wide range of artists to explore the potential of poetry to be integrated with other art forms and digital technologies. He is co–director of Ek Zuban Press which publishes bilingual poetry editions drawn from international exchange projects, and co-runs the literature event The Electric Kool-Aid Cabaret of the Spoken Word. He is also a founding member of an experimental poetry and sound-scape scheme called Project Lono.
