James Toupin

James Toupin, retired general counsel of the US Patent and Trademark Office, now teaches in the law school of the American University in Washington, DC. His poetry has appeared in dozens of journals since he began publishing in 2008. He is also a translator of Selected Letters of Alexis de Tocqueville on Politics and Society, and a writer on legal topics.
