Kelly Davis

Kelly Davis was born in London, studied English Literature at Oxford University and worked for Penguin, Longman and BBC Books in the 1980s. In 1989, she moved to Maryport, a small fishing town on the West Cumbrian coast. She works from home as a freelance editor and she is actively involved in the Cumbrian poetry community. She has recently read at online events for the Wordsworth Trust and the Garsdale Retreat, and she was selected for a series of funded workshops with Kim Moore for Emerging Northwest Poets. 

Several of Kelly’s poems have been performed at Arachne’s Solstice Shorts Festivals and published in their respective anthologies,  Dusk, Tymes Goe by Turnes, and Words From the Brink.
