Clare Sandling’s stories have been performed at the Liar’s League and Tales of the Decongested. She has completed a novel, ‘The Residence of Queens’ set in a claustrophobic care home, and is now working on a children’s book. She is a member of the Willesden Green Writers Group and Brockley Writers Of Our Age.
Clare’s story for London Lies, How to Win at Scrabble and Life, was first read at Liars’ League in August 2008 as part of the Winners and Losers evening, and tells of an overly competitive Scrabble game getting way, way out of hand.
Clare’s story for Lovers’ Lies Under the Influence is about a phone call, internet shopping and vodka.
