Sarah Deckro is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States. She is a passionate writer, teacher, flutist and storyteller. She received a bachelor’s degree in History from Connecticut College. Sarah participated in “Jiser el Adam,” a storytelling programme to promote peace among youths in the Holy Land in 2011. She has also studied the art of storytelling at Lesley University and
through creative collaborations with writer, director, Professor and storyteller Alan O’Hare. Sarah currently works as a preschool teacher in Boston, MA, where her most important focus is supporting the development of self-esteem and empathy in young children.
