Wendy Gill

Wendy Gill lives in Hertfordshire. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Middlesex University. Her first short story Moving Mike was published in Stations by Arachne Press. Her story, The Deal, was selected for the inaugural anthology, Words and Women One, published by Unthank Books. She is working on a collection of stories, entitled The Female Condition. Wendy is also a librettist; her musical That Man previewed at the London Theatre Workshop last year, and she is now planning its West End debut next year. She has recently written and released a Christmas song for charity. Wendy was shortlisted for the Solstice Shorts competition 2014.

Wendy’s story for Stations, Moving Mike is set in Dalston. Wendy is also featuring in the second Solstice Shorts Festival, Longest Night, and her story A Little Favour, which charts a disasterous night and a friendship found lacking, is in the Shortest Day, Longest Night anthology.
