Grace Cookey-Gam

Grace Cookey-Gam studied at the City Lit, graduating in 2013. Theatre credits include: Wolves Are Coming For You (Jack Studio Theatre), Richard III & Romeo & Juliet (Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre, Blenheim Palace), OthelloMacbeth (Lyric Hammersmith & HOME), Kiss of the Spiderwoman (Menier Chocolate Factory), Di & Viv & Rose (Stephen Joseph Theatre/New Vic), #Hashtag Lightie (Arcola).

Television & Film include: Hollyoaks, This Is Going To Hurt (BBC), Soulmates (AMC), Dawn (Hulu/ MGM), Tyrant (Fox), Saved (ITV), Justice League (Warner Bros). For BBC Radio:  Things Fall Apart (R4), Words and Music (R3).

Prior to acting, Grace studied music at Birmingham University & worked in arts education. She retains a love of voice work, be it voiceover, poetry reading, singing or helping others find their voice.

Grace is delighted to reading for Solstice Shorts again for Words from the Brink, having first celebrated the shortest night with Arachne Press in 2015
