Adrienne’s poetry and fiction have appeared widely in the independent press, including her novel Vermin (published by Flambard). Her second novel Controlling Aphrodite was shortlisted for the Virginia Prize 2009.
Another novel, The Kiss is published for kindle. Poetry and stories have appeared in a range of small press magazines, such as Dreamcatcher, Prole, Ink on Paper, Other Poetry, Miracle and Clockwork, Lincolnshire Echo, in The Clock Struck War anthology (Mardibooks, 2014) and the Mediterranean poetry website
runner-up in the York Open Poetry competition, was involved in the Voices of Women performance poetry project in conjunction with Wicked Words Poetry, Leeds, and won the 1998 Old Meeting House play-writing competition. She has self-published poetry pamphlets, Flight Path, and The Fibonacci Sequence.

Adrienne describes her poem for The Other Side of Sleep, Rhythms as:

Rape within a relationship, rape throughout history, the two themes coincide on a Corsican beach, where, finally, a decision is made.

Adrienne is one of six poets featured in Vindication
