Polly Hall

Polly Hall has lived in Somerset (almost) all her life. Her interest in the natural world influences her writing. In fact, she writes in a hut at the bottom of her garden overlooking the Somerset Levels so is easily distracted by the wonderful view.

She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa Uni and recently completed her first novel, The Taxidermist’s Lover. She is working on her second.

Polly is currently Resident Poet for ‘Out of the Mouth of the Parrett’ an ECHO project by Theatre Melange in collaboration with Somerset Libraries. Find out more on Twitter #ParrettsMouth @MelangeECHO and @SomersetLib

Her story Darkest Night is in Shortest Day, Longest Night and will be read at The Solstice Shorts Festival 2016: Shortest Day
