Elizabeth Ward has two poems in What Meets the Eye? The Deaf Perspective
Elizabeth was born in and lives in North London, with her husband Daniel and their cat Chocolat, a chatty tortoiseshell. After completing her MA degree thesis in Women’s Studies at York in 2009, she decided she wanted to pursue her writing as a career. She writes about intersections of identity (being deaf, a woman, bisexual duality, mental health, fat activism), creativity and craft, the arts, and speculative, Sci-Fi, magical realism, and fantasy stories. Her poems explore these topics as well as what it means to be human in this day and age.
