Louise Swingler is a freelance writer and copy-editor. She is also slightly mad and extremely courageous, having left her well-paid job in the public sector and moved back up north to do what she loves best. Whilst taking a Creative Writing MA at Manchester Metropolitan University, she has written a novel which she is in the process of editing before seeking publication. Other daily adventures include learning how to keep chickens and attempting to grow vegetables at 1000 feet above sea level. She lives in North Yorkshire with her husband.
Her story for Stations Morning, Sunshine is set in Highbury & Islington. She describes it as
A woman meets with unexpected and violent conflicts during an ordinary working day in Islington, but is it preferable to the emotional confrontations that await her at home?
