Lorraine Mighty

 

Lorraine Mighty (she/her) is a poet, English Language Teacher and OD Consultant of Jamaican heritage. She has worked for educational institutions in the UK and overseas. She currently works in UK higher education. 

Lorraine holds a BA (Hons) in Writing and Publishing Studies and an MA in Learning and Teaching. She has a poem included in the YHA Outside Voices project which was part-funded by the National Lottery Emerging Futures Fund.

Lorraine was born and raised in Birmingham and the Black Country, and now lives in Birmingham with her husband and two children.

Lorraine’s poem Managing Through a Pandemic: Hands – Face – Space appears in Arachne’s forthcoming anthology Where We Find Ourselves.
