Ken Farrell holds advanced degrees from Salisbury University and Texas State University. He is a two-time U.S. National Judo Champion, a two-time U.S. National Sambo Champion and has earned bread as a teacher, waiter, wrestling coach, professional cage fighter, and pizzaiolo. For most of the past ten years, he has worked in a warehouse.

Ken has published poetry, short fiction, and book reviews in journals such as The Texas Poetry Journal, The Mid-Atlantic Review, Writer’s Bloc, Connections, Pilgrimage and Texas Books in Review.
