Lesley Kerr has been a member of Watford Writers since September 2019 and is inspired by character development and “getting inside people’s minds”. Lesley enjoys people watching and developing back stories for individuals who she encounters in her everyday life. Lesley is currently writing a story based on her mother’s experience of migrating to the UK from the West Indies in the 1960s (although not a Windrush tale) and a contemporary fiction telling the stories of interconnected characters.
