Ellen O’Neill grew up on sheep & cattle ranches on the West Coast of the USA, rode with real cowboys, moving cattle to the high or low pastures as the seasons changed.
She has created and published news, stories and poems from kindergarten to present. Ellen is the author of two short stories published in the Chrysalis Reader & feature stories in local and international newspapers, she also writes lyrics for songs and resumes for job seekers.
She lives with her cat, within walking distance from the sea and is grateful to have two wonderful daughters, Heather, who lives in Washington State, and Megan, who lives near her on the Santa Cruz Coast.
Ellen’s story for Weird Lies, Jethro, is a good old-fashioned old-west tall tale.
