Solstice Shorts one week to go

2016-12-14-17-23-33Ok folks, time to roll up the sleeves and get down to some SERIOUS work. There are 7 days to go pretty much exactly before I arrive at West Greenwich Library to set out chairs, arrange cake and vats of mulled cider, make sure the video is working, pile the books in irresistible piles, put up the banners, deck the choir in hi-vis jackets and lanterns…

You have the easy bit – all you need to do, is Turn Up!

(and support our thunderclap – please – we need about 15 people a day to sign up for the next 4 days for it to happen  – tell your friends!)

THE most stressful thing about running an event is worrying no-one will actually come.

You don’t NEED to book but it helps us.

Made in Greenwich is a small venue absolute maximum capacity is 30, so if you want a seat it would be an idea to BOOK for the poetry event there at 6pm.

If you want to come to the writing event Write through the Night, (10-midnight) you really do need to book, it’s the only element of the evening that isn’t free, at a minimalist £10.

If you are coming to the main Short Story section of the evening at West Greenwich Library it is free and we have room for about 50, but if you book I can guarantee you a seat.

You are, of course, welcome to just turn up on the night, indeed we expect it, but if you want to be sure of a seat please book!
