Simon’s poetry explores the struggle to find a clear path in a complex world. An engineer and business consultant, he is a member of local and international writers’ groups. His work has been published in print and online, including by Amsterdam Quarterly (www.amsterdamquarterly.org) and Arachne Press.

Simon’s poem Orion was published by Arachne in the anthology, The Other Side of Sleep, describing how “every night the great hunter tracks perfection and gets within a whisker of catching it… but never quite succeeds. Each night he must set out again, new with hope”.  His poem We Are Beach People is published in Arachne’s 2021 Solstice Shorts anthology, Words From the Brink.
