Jane Aldous

Jane Aldous is an Edinburgh based poet. Some of Jane’s poems have been published in literary magazines such as Northwords Now and Southlight. She’s been commended in poetry competitions and she won the Wigtown Prize in 2012. Her poems have also been anthologised. In 2018 she had a poem published in Arachne Press’s anthology  An Outbreak of Peace. She’s very excited that her poetry collection, Let Out the Djinn will also be published by Arachne Press in 2019

Her poem for Dusk, After the sun, before the stars was performed at Ellon and Inverness at Dusk on the 21st December 2017 and published in the Dusk anthology on 21st June 2018

Her poem By the Obelisk Sundial, Drummond Castle will be performed at Edinburgh and Carlisle at Noon on the 21st December 2018 and published in the Noon anthology on 21st March 2019
