Pauline Walker was shortlisted for Solstice Shorts 2014, and is back and featuring in the second Solstice Shorts Festival, Longest Night, and her story Left of Earth, Right of Venus, in which a mother searches space for her daughter, is in the Shortest Day, Longest Night anthology.
Pauline was commissioned by Tangle International to write a sonnet celebrating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s ‘I have a Dream’ speech. The sonnet was performed in Tangle International’s tour of south west England in 2014.
Her short story ‘Always Smiling’ was read at Are You Sitting Comfortably by White Rabbit.
Her poem ‘Unlucky in Love’ was published by Forward Poetry in 2014.
She was commissioned to write two stories for StrongBack Productions in 2014 and 2015 to be read at their storytelling events Rude Gyals and Strong Back Tales.
Pauline is currently writing a novel and has been offered a place on The Novel Studio by City University London for 2016/17
