Melanie is singer/songwriter, expressive therapist, choir leader and arranger. She currently runs two choirs in South London, Trade Winds and Vocal Chords.

She has sung, recorded and performed many styles of music, along with her own, throughout the last 40 years including Traditional folk, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Country Rock.

As well as producing CDs and videos for her choirs she has recently recorded a reunion album with all female acoustic band  Daphne’s Flight. They will be touring Britain in May 2017.

Melanie will direct Vocal Chords at Solstice Shorts  2016: Shortest Day, and will sing her setting of Alison Craig‘s poem, The Turning of The Year.
