Alison Lock

Alison Lock is a poet and author. Her most recent publications are Revealing the Odour of Earth, Calder Valley Poetry and A Witness of Waxwings, Cultured Llama Press. Her previous collections are A Slither of Air (2011), and Beyond Wings (2015) both Indigo Dreams PublishingShe is also the author of  a fantasy novella, Maysun and the Wingfish (MothersMilkBooks 2016). She has an MA in Literature Studies from York St John University.

Alison’s Poem for Dusk, Crow Haibun, which she describes as, the cycle of life via Crow – through winter, from berry to new growth, was performed at Ellon, Carlisle, and Rossendale at Dusk on the 21st December 2017 and published in the Dusk anthology on 21st June 2018

Her poem Noon Son was performed at Noon at Blackheath and Carlisle on 21st December 2018 and published in the Noon anthology

Her poem for Time and Time, Solstice Shorts Festival 2019, Sisterhood of the Seas was performed at  Holyhead and Maryport and published in the Time and Tide anthology.
